  • Is there a Deposit to book?

    A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Can you accommodate Large Groups?

    Absolutely! The number of people we can accommodate depends on your timeline. Please include the number of people in your inquiry form to discuss further.

  • How far in advance should I book my appointment?

    Appointments are confirmed only after a 50% deposit is received. To secure your preferred date/time, Please provide your deposit as soon as possible, as slots/dates can be reassigned to others without notice.

  • Do you provide Hair and/or Makeup Trials Before booking the date?

    Absolutely! At Emily Joy Beauty, we strive to ensure you feel completely confident that we are the perfect fit for your important moments before you book.

  • How far in advance should I schedule my Trial for my Wedding

    We recommend booking about 3 months in advance and after your dress is chosen.

    Booking too close to the wedding can lead to scheduling conflicts, while booking too far in advance may result in changes to your initial plans.

  • Hong long will my appointment take?

    Appointment times vary based on your chosen looks, please consult with your artist to discuss a timeline.

  • How should I arrive for my Makeup Appointment?

    Please arrive with a clean, fresh face, ideally without lotions or creams. If applying these is unavoidable, kindly inform your artist upon arrival.

  • How should I arrive for my Hair Appointment?

    Please arrive with clean, dry hair. Wet or damp hair may impact the quality of the styling and extend the appointment time.

  • How should I prep my skin/face before my makeup appointment?

    Exfoliating and hydrating your skin can greatly enhance your makeup results. If you have specific skin concerns, be sure to check out our trusted skincare experts under "Partners We Love."

  • What should I bring to my makeup/hair appointment?

    If you are considering using any extensions, hairpieces or a veil, we recommend bringing them to your trial, though it's not required. Aside from that, we take care of the rest!

  • Are you available for destination weddings or events!

    Yes, I am! Traveling is one of my biggest passions, and being able to combine it with my love for hair and makeup is a dream come true. I'm excited to bring my services to you, no matter where your event takes place!

  • Do you provide hair and makeup services for Special Occasions such as Prom, Graduations, Birthdays, etc.?

    Absolutely! We offer our services for any special occasion!

  • Do you have hypoallergenic Makeup?

    Yes! If you have any allergies/sensitivities, please inform us before we begin your application.

  • Can you accommodate specific hair concerns or conditions such as, thinning hair, alopecia, wigs etc.?

    Yes, we can accommodate various hair concerns! Please let us know of any specific needs, and we'll tailor our services to ensure you feel confident and satisfied!

  • Do you offer hair extensions?

    Although we do not offer hair extensions, we are more than happy to install any clip-in extensions provided to us.

  • How can I touch-up my lips throughout the day?

    A lip touch-up kit will be provided with all makeup bookings!

  • Do you offer on-site services for clients?

    Absolutely! No matter where you or your party is preparing, we're pleased to accommodate by providing our services at your location.

    We also offer in-studio appointments located in High River for those looking to save on travel fees. (studio space is limited)

  • Do you offer Makeup Lessons?

    Yes, we offer makeup lessons for both individuals and groups. Our lessons are tailored to your need, whether you're looking to master everyday techniques or explore more advanced skills. We cover everything from skincare prep to product application, ensuring you leave with the confidence and knowledge to achieve your desired look.

    Group sessions are also available for parties or events, providing a fun, hands-on experience for everyone! Special group rates are available upon request; please contact us for further details.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Cancellations made within 60 days of your scheduled appointment will incur full payment.
